While an obivous advantage to a two-handed cutting sword is the ability to generate a lot of power with little motion with the push-pull motion of the hands, the same cannot be said of a rapier. While I'm aware a rapier can indeed cut, I wouldn't think an extra hand would give that much of an improvment, however I could be wrong.

He was a Governor General in Finland in 1648-1654 and governed well, hence the exhibition. The most intriguing item at the exhibition was his two handed.
